Synopsis and Plot Summary

An honest man who has been working at the company for the past ten years suddenly gets a "promotion" except the department is made up of "losers".

Hu Qiang ( Li Jiahang) has suddenly been transferred to a small department called "Department of Disruption" as their manager. His subordinates are all very unique - there's the prickly programmer Ouyang Mofei (Cheng Guo), the over-the-top salesperson Tang Haixing (Cheng Guo), the gossiper secretary Jin Ruoyu (Tu Hua), the rigid designer Su Kejie (Liu Zhongqiu), the fragile copywriter Pang Xiaobai (Li Wenfan) and the ditsy intern Sha Lele (Sun Yiwen).

The only thing they have in common is that everyone is a loser. Others work for 8 hours while they work for an infinite amount of hours with endless things to do every day. Their "sufferings" are enough to make them full but even so, this group will not take things lying down. They try their best at their jobs to stage a hilarious story after another.

It is part of iQIYI's Laugh On lineup of comedies.
On August 5, 2020 which is the 11th anniversary of iPartment, it was announced that director Wei Zheng will be reuniting with Li Jiahang as well as his iPartment 5 co-stars Cheng Guo and Zhang Yiduo for another project about old friends and a new story.
It was announced on December 17, 2021 that filming has wrapped.
