Synopsis and Plot Summary
Two people whose lives were on completely different trajectories meet during a chance encounter to experience a brief yet romantic journey together. The young man from the mountains and the girl from the big city work hard to walk into each other's worlds.
Under the snowy mountains of Gongga, Abu (Zhang Youhao), who grew up in Moxi Town is full of curiosity and always down to try new things. He is the maverick of their town who runs a bar on weekdays and occasionally serves as a mountain guide for tourists. During a bonfire festival, Abu meets Luo Yao (Xue Haojing) while she was on vacation. Luo Yao is a beautiful urban girl with a melancholic aura.
While basking in the beautiful sights of Hailuogou, the two fall for each other. Before they part ways, Abu promises to "build a wooden house under the stars" for Luo Yao. In order to realize their romantic yet unrealistic agreement, Abu and his companions begin their journey towards creating their dreams from scratch.
