Synopsis and Plot Summary
Sealed with a Kiss 2 continues the story in the original series. Tong Xue is deeply moved by Mo Shaoqian's decision to surrender himself for her sake. She rushes to the police station to confess her feelings for him, but he reacts coldly towards her. Wen Hao tells Tong Xue that she may was well leave to fulfill Mo Shaoqian's wishes for her. Tong Xue agrees but promises to come back for Mo Shaoqian.
A year later, Tong Xue (Ying Er) returns and crosses paths with Mo Shaoqian (Hawick Lau) many times in the same city but keep missing out on each other. Wen Hao (Zheng Long) secretly arranges for Tong Xue to join the design team without realizing that Mo Shaoqian is aware of everything. Tong Xue has a colleague named Song Yi (Li Zhinan) who looks an awful lot like Xiao Shan and gets along really well with her. Upon learning that Tong Xue has been kidnapped, Mo Shaoqian immediately leaves the hospital to look for her. Mo Shaoqian silently guards Tong Xue. Even when he almost couldn't stop himself from appearing before her, he stayed put and watched Tong Xue and Song Yi go hand in hand. Mo Shaoqian has a brain tumor and remains reluctant to undergo surgery because he is afraid to lose his memories.

- The sequel brings back the same cast except Zhang Ran who does not reprise her role as Liu Yueying and was replaced by Wen Mengyang.
- Filming began on January 1, 2012 and lasted for about a week in Hangzhou.
- The story is not based on the original novel and also features a different director and writer from Sealed with a Kiss.
- Each episode is only 10 minutes long as the sequel was initially meant to be a movie.
