Synopsis and Plot Summary

A wedding planner stopped believing in love after her boyfriend left her. After meeting a male model, she gradually opens up to him and finds love again.

An independent woman of the modern generation, He Daye (Tong Liya) is labelled as a "leftover girl" because she is still single at her age. In spite of societal pressures, she refuses to make marriage her ultimate goal. Instead, she has chosen to carve out a successful career since she believes that it is better for women to rely on themselves than to rely on a man.

Three years ago, He Daye had walked down the aisle with her then pilot boyfriend Luo Chang (Wang Gongliang). However, he suddenly takes Daye along to run from their wedding! Luo Chang confesses that he is not ready to get married. Daye forgives him and the two have a peaceful breakup.

He Daye and her ex stay as friends, but even though they have some lingering thoughts about each other, neither took one step closer. Meanwhile, Daye and Zhang Meng (Zhang Liang) wouldn't have become friends if they hadn't gotten off to a bad start. Zhang Meng, a has-been model, may have hit a bottleneck in his career and his life, but he is a capable man who gives off an overwhelming sense of security. Daye feels conflicted between her ex and her new beau, yet learns to put down her defences to understand the true meaning of love.
