Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells the story of a father's mad desire for revenge and the suspect's mother who is willing to wade across the raging sea for the sake of her son.
Lao Jin (Huang Bo), a fisherman, has worked to send his daughter Jin Linna for studies abroad in Japan. However, he is devastated by the news of her sudden death. At this time, Jin Linna's boyfriend and murder suspect Li Miaomiao has fled back to China under the protection of his parents (Zhou Xun). Lao Jin then embarks on the path to his pursuit of revenge.
