Small Happiness

Jiang Deshun who rides his Harley in his trendy outfit and shades bears many pressures as a family man and chairman of his internet company. As troubles come one after the other, it's up to the "cool dad" to lead everyone in regaining their small happiness.

Aside from Jiang Deshun (Jiang Wu) who is a divorced middle-aged man, his family is comprised of "female generals." In the generation before him, he has a very traditional mother and a very liberal mother-in-law. Among the next generation, he has one daughter, the daring and forthright Jiang Tian (Cheng Zi), and his level-headed niece Jiang Ting (Li Yixian). Another member of the family is his sister-in-law Wang Jinlan (Liu Lili) who loves gossiping.

When Jiang Tian gave birth to her baby Yuan Xingfu, Jiang Deshun who has not yet gotten the chance to bask in the joys of grandfatherhood is forced to deal with successive storms. First, his daughter and her husband's marriage are on the rocks because their baby looks mixed. Second, his company is in a bind after his partner left behind a mess. Jiang Deshun rises up to the challenge of putting his life back in order. In the meantime, everything that has happened evokes Jiang Deshun's yearning for his ex-wife Jia Yiyun.
