Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story adapted from cases that depict how China's public security police cooperates with local authorities overseas to carry out law enforcement operations.

In places where Chinese police has no law enforcement power, members of the task force led by Gao Xiaotian (Wu Gang) demonstrate their wisdom, courage and extraordinary skills as they cooperate with law enforcement agencies overseas.

In a Southeast Asian country, the team orchestrates the arrest of Taiwan native Lin Guoxiong, a man involved in a large scale telecom fraud that has victimized many. Two key witnesses of a high-profile corruption case who fled to the United States are persuaded to return to China. In a certain country in South America, they face off against two local gangs that have been harming the property and the lives of overseas Chinese. As a team, Gao Xiaotian's team works tirelessly to complete various missions to protect the interest of the people.

Filming took place in Zhongshan, Malaysia and Bali.
Filming began on November 25, 2019 in Zhongshan, Guangzhou province and wrapped on June 3, 2020. It experienced a temporary filming delay due to the COVID-19 epidemic in China.
