Synopsis and Plot Summary

A love story between a boy who hides a secret and a girl with depresssion. Xin Tang has the ability to control sound. While sweeping the tombs of his parents, he runs into Ji Ze, a girl from school and develops a bad impression of her due to her behavior at the cemetery. In turn, Ji Ze greatly dislikes Xin Tang's indifference. Through a series of circumstances, the two people who cannot see eye to eye end up having an unbreakable bond.

Xin Tang (Sun Chenjun) has the ability to create happiness for others through the use of sound. Should he use it three times on the same person, his will be forever bound to that person and can only survive if they are happy. By chance, Xin Tang rescues Ji Ze (Zhang Ruonan) who's somewhat of an internet celebrity at school as she was about to commit suicide.

Because of the incident, they become bound to each other. Ji Ze seems cheerful on the surface but actually suffers from depression. At first, Xin Tang tries his very best to always make her happy in order to ensure his own survival. As they get to know each other, Xin Tang comes to realize his feelings while Ji Ze also learns to open up to him. Just when love is at its sweetest, Ji Ze's dark past is revealed. She also discovers the secret that Xin Tang has been hiding. As their relationship faces a crisis, destiny leads them to an extraordinary distance.

Alan Wang Yanlin guest stars while Guo Shutong takes a special starring role.
The Chinese title translate to, "If the voice cannot remember."
It is the second time Luo Luo and Guo Jingming are working together after the movie Cry Me a Sad River which also stars Zhang Ruonan.
