Synopsis and Plot Summary

A girl who firmly believes that merpeople exist mistakes lifeguard Anxida (Li Xiangzhe) for a merman which results in many laughable encounters. When they finally sort through their misunderstandings to become lovers, they also unveil the truth behind the mysterious Mei tribe.

Online columnist Shen Muxin (Esther Wu) was rescued from drowning when she was young and personally witnessed fins turn into human legs. Since then, she has been determined to prove the existence of mer people and even got into an argument with her archeology professor because of it. In order to track them down, Shen Muxin returns to her hometown of Xingyue Bay and joins the resort's lifeguard team.

Shen Muxin meets Anxida (Li Xiangzhe) who is applying to be a lifeguard. Anxida left the world of sports due to an injury from a car accident. However, Shen Muxin accidentally discovers that he has the mark of the mer people and becomes certain that he is a merman!
