Synopsis and Plot Summary
After both Zhang Yan and the mysterious man disappear, Zheng Xiong stays dormant for one year feigning insanity while secretly looking for clues.
Zheng Xiong (Jiang Qilin) soon discoverss that the mysterious man's identity is just ass Zhang Yan (Sun Rui) predicted. He is Liu Yang (Luo Kang) who goes by the pseudonym Yellow Scorpion. One step at a time, Zheng Xiong finally brings Liu Yang into the chess game that he has designed.
On the verge of collapse from Zheng Xiong's relentless psychological attackss, Liu Yang finally comes clean about what he has done in the past ten years and the painful price that he paid because of it. Liu Yang witnessed his own daughter Liu Sirui (Zhang Zhuling) suffer from a mental illness. For a father, it is the most unspeakeable pain. Zheng Xiong realizes that Liu Yang's story is not that simple and behind him is a large organization that is shrouded in mystery.
