Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story of a blended family follows Liu Biyun and Jiang Tianhuai who became husband and wife in their second marriage. Each with children of their own, they not only face outside challenges in their career but also have to handle family members with very different personalities.
After the Cultural Revolution, Liu Biyun (Yan Ni) and Jiang Tianhuai (Wang Yanhui) return to the city after ten years of separation. Together, Liu Biyun's stepdaughter Jiang Mei (Li Chunai) and grandma are the instigators of many conflicts within the family but Liu Biyun never takes it to heart as she tries to be a good mother and a good influence.
Although Jiang Lin (Zhang Yijie) and Li Bing (Zhai Xiaowen) are not biological brothers, they are always ready to help each other through difficulties. Jiang Xue (Luna Qin) is someone who's been hurt due to relationship problems but she manages to move on through the help of her family. After resuming her gaokao exams, she works hard to enter university and relies on gaining knowledge to change her destiny.Jiang Sen (Wang Zirui) married early in the countryside. His wife Wang Gaifeng (Cui Liya) habitually disagrees with mother-in-law Liu Biyun.
Jiang Tianhui loves Liu Biyun deeply. One by one, one at a time, the mother and father of the family pours their love and devotion to ensure that their children can grow happily. As they enter the old age, the two look back to the past with no regrets. To be born as their sons and daughters is a fortunate thing.

- Filming began in Beijing on July 28, 2020 and wrapped on November 12, 2020.
- Flora Dai and Luna Qin were both contestants of the survival show Youth with You 2.
- It is Luna Qin's first drama as part of the main cast.
