Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican era, the story follows a policeman with a dual personality who lifts the veil on a series of strange cases.
On the eve of the 1911 Revolution, a string of serial murders occur in a remote town on the outskirts of Tianjin. Tan Bodun (Gao Zhiting) rushes to the scene to launch an investigation and discovers a shocking secret hidden in Fuyuan county. A six-member detective team that also includes Luo Jiazhen (Zhang Xin), Zheng Ziwu (Wang Longzheng), Song Chengmin (Qu Gaowei), Da Pan (Liu Enshang) and He Chunting (Chen Yali) engages in a fight for justice.
