Synopsis and Plot Summary

An unusual love story between a former corporate executive who suddenly believes that he is the emperor and his unwilling psychiatrist who took on his case in order to earn money.

Zhu Xuanwen (Wanyan Luorong) is described as the kind of guy who has 3 highs - he has high IQ, high visuals and a high net worth. It's a pity that the young bachelor has become mentally ill after an explicable car accident that has him claiming to be Jianwen Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. Since then, Zhu Xuanwen has built a private palace in the outskirts and no longer cares about the day-to-day operations of his own company. For him, his only concern is to be the emperor.

Luo Kaihuai (Zhuang Dafei) is an intern training to become a psychiatrist. She belongs to the category of people who are great at their job but terrible at everything else. Because of her desperate need for money to support her family, she has no choice but to become Zhu Xuanwen's doctor. In order to treat him, she tries to enter his palace even as he chases her away.
