Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that follows the love lives of a woman over 35 who chooses not to get married, her friend who's a corporate powerhouse and a beauty salon owner caught between her savior and her suitor.

Cheng Lu (Tong Yao) is a top-notch screenwriter who has the beauty, the brains and the enviable career. Even so, her being unmarried despite being over 35 always gets brought up. Cheng Lu stresses that it's not because she cannot get married. Instead, she has chosen not to get married and remains unwilling to lower her standards. Things take a turn when she meets Wei Shu (Pan Yueming), a psychology professor whose arrival shake her beliefs.

Cheng Lu's good friend Tian Lei (Chen Shu) is the star of their law firm. There is nothing she cannot achieve when she sets her mind to it. However, Xu Haifeng (Yuan Wenkang) comes crashing into her life. He is neither her friend nor her foe and they develop a complicated relationship. Ding Shiya (Xu Fangyi) is a beauty salon owner who has fallen for the man who saved her life. When fuerdai Zhou Chenyu (Li Shen) starts to pursue her aggressively, she starts to develop feelings she never thought possible.
