Synopsis and Plot Summary
Three brothers from the rural province move to the big city in hopes of a better life. The story revolves around their experiences and struggles in the field of construction.
For the sake of their dreams, Tie Zhenguo (Gu Zhixin), his older brother Tie Tou (Guan Xuan) and cousin Gao Zhong (Li Yuxuan) travel to Beijing to find work. Tie Zhenguo bears with the humiliation and hardships at the construction site to find a teacher who can help him learn the tricks of the trade. He becomes an outstanding builder but an accident causes him to lose the ability to work.
Through his studies, Gao Zhong succeeds in becoming an architect, but falls prey to the temptations of fame and wealth that lead him astray. As the brothers become enemies, Tie Zhenguo gets back on his feet determined to continue chasing after his dream.
