Synopsis and Plot Summary
The three part tv series is based on three literary pieces that follows a group of special intelligence officers. Each story is independent of each other but also intricately woven.
The listeners listen in through the frequency to hear unuttered words and secrets. The watchers have eyes that can decipher clues and decode information. Then there are the underground operatives who work in the field and offer up their lives for their country.

- It is one of the first that marked the beginning of the spy thriller genre in China.
- Liu Yunlong directs and stars in the drama in his directorial debut.
- Mai Jia who wrote the original novel also writes the screenplay.
- The original novel is comprised of five separate stories.
- Liu Yunlong suggested the collaboration with Mai Jia as he was drawn to the concept of listening to the wind, looking at the wind and capturing the wind. Mai Jia wasn't willing for the story to be adapted into drama at first because it wasn't long enough and did not fit the format of a television series. Liu Yunlong thought of a way to add a character - An Zai Tian to connect the stories.
- Filming took place in Sichuan, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Xibei.
- To get into character, Wang Bao Qiang went to a school for the blind to experience their lifestyle for three months. He also practiced and succeeded in learning how to make his ears move.
