Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story revolving around a struggle for legal reform in the face of difficult adversities.
Bai Xue Mei (Yan Bing Yan) is in charge of a trial involving an environmental lawsuit. The plaintiff's lawyer gets into an accident which puts the burden on the shoulders of young lawyer Lu Min (Tian Mu Chen). Ning Zhi Yuan (Liu Zhi Bing) who is the defendant's lawyer is the public prosecutor that put Lu Min's father behind bars for murder. Bai Xue Mei's husband, Yang Zhen Hua (Wang Zhi Fei), falls into a trap laid out by the defendant (He Bing) in order to force Bai Xue Mei into a corner. Meanwhile, Lu Min finds clues that may prove his father's innocence and he starts on a trail to overturn the verdict from many years ago.
