Shuttle Love Millennium

In the years 2016 and 1936 in Shanghai, there lived two men with the exact same appearance whose fates cross and interchange after an incident.

Sun Qilong (Wei Daxun) is a second generation rich from the present who finds himself in Old Shanghai in the year 1936. Zhang Zhigang (Wei Daxun) is a legendary chef from the Republican era who finds himself in the year 2016. Assuming each other's identity, their story jumps through 80 years of history to explore a well-kept family secret and complicated stories of love and hate. Despite the changes that they encounter, one thing that remains constant is love.

• It is the second part of the Love Series that was intended to be made into three parts.
• It is directed by Kim Byung Soo of Queen In-Hyun's Man.
• Filming took place in Shanghai, Suzhou and Ningxiang.
• Wei Daxun plays two characters that belong in different time periods.
• Due to filming being delayed, Korean actress Yoo In Na encountered conflicts with her schedules in Korea and had to back out of the production. Puff Guo went in as her replacement.
• It is part of the dramas that were affected by the Hallyu Ban, an unofficial ban that was in effect in China to restrict all forms of Hallyu aka Korean Wave due to the political disagreement between China and Korea over THAAD. On October 31, 2017, there were reports that both sides were making a move to mend diplomatic ties and news that the virtual ban has been lifted came days later. (Source: Sohu)
• There were initial speculations that the story will be a remake of the Korean drama Rooftop Prince, but the storyline turned out to be different.
