Embracing Happiness

A cinderella story that follows a young woman who overcomes all odds to become a successful fashion designer.

Zhou Hongying's (Hai Lu) parents were separated at a young age. She grew up under the care of her adoptive father Zhou Baishen (Tian Licheng) and she has always dreamed of becoming a full-fledged fashion designer. She applies for a position at an established fashion house, but an incident turns everyone against her as she is accused of stealing another's work. It also gets her on the wrong side of Bai Zhongling (Eric Huang), the director of the design department.

Despite the hurdles, she succeeds in helping an old grandma turn her store around and save it from closure. Her achievements catch the eye of the company president Bai Guozheng (Wen Haibo) who makes an exception to take her in as a new hire, thus igniting a new set of challenges in the workplace.
