Synopsis and Plot Summary
Fang Mu (Chen Ruo Xuan) is a genius criminal profiler who successfully cracks a case after describing the past, present and future of a suspect yet he comes out of it damaged, broken and unable to continue his work. However, a series of murder case comes back to haunt him and he is forced to confront his past.

- Evil Minds is an iQiYi web drama that premiered on May 8, 2015 and it is adapted from a novel by Lei Mi. A sequel began filming on Jul. 22, 2016, bringing back most of the same cast. For ten years, Evil Minds was the most downloaded web novel in the crime and suspense genre (approx. 10 hundred million hits) and it even earned a commendable 8/10 in Douban, a popular ratings website. The hype surrounding the novel is the main reason that the production team decided to depict the story in live action format and season one combines two books from the series (The Seventh Reader and Sketch).
